Indie Artist: EHV Releases “Natural”

EHV is a 20 year old artist from Toronto, Ontario who uses the power of manifestation in his lyrics to speak his dreams into existence.

While using elements of Jazz, Modern Hip-Hop, Blues, Funk and R&B in his production, EHV draws comparisons to artists such as Action Bronson, Russ, and Ab-$oul. After releasing his debut raw unmixed album, "The Learning Curve" his projects "What I Am" and "Going Hollywood" shone light on how versatile of an artist he is. Shifting around from a mix of harmonies on one, and conscious rap on the other. On Aug 28th EHV releases his biggest project yet, 'Natural'. 'This is more than just a song; it's a motto, a lifestyle, or something subjective to every individual"» To accompany the release of "Natural", EHV presents to the world a self-directed and edited music video. « a visual representation of connecting to nature. »

“Natural has to be my biggest project yet. Giving the listener a funky, anthemic hook that'll make you want to groove. Meanwhile, the bouncy drums and  jazzy bass line contrast with the soft piano chords; making you want to chill out and relax. “ - EHV Said.

The lyrics give an opportunity for the listener to define their own subjective idea of what "natural" means. However, the lyrics quite literally reflect the motto I needed to follow in order to promote this entire project; which was to "stay natural" (as in the chorus).

Displaying all of my talents in one, doing the production, the mixing and mastering. I truly spent the most time I have ever on a single project. After several rough mixes, "Natural" became a 3 month project.

I soon learned that "staying natural" throughout the process was by staying true to myself. Stepping outside of my comfort zone to try new things. With that in mind, for the first time ever, I directed, recorded and edited an entire music video in the matter of a month.
