“Angel (Wash It Away)” by Elysaé is a powerful and heartfelt song. The dark and haunting music video that she brings us could not be any more fitting to the mood.

The high production value of her music videos and music really caught our attention. Angel is a song about releasing bottled up anger and resentment from relationships and life experiences. The stand out guitars in conjunction with Elysaé’s voice and harmonies really drive the dark and alluring vibe that she created.

Starting on a barren beach in the Angel video, Elysaé is led by a tribesman up the cliffs to a fiery initiation ceremony. The fire represents the anger, rage, and other repressed emotions releasing from her body into the world. This is leaves her free to ‘float like an angel’.
