Before he got into hip-hop, Mac spent time hosting game nights at local pubs and performing standup comedy in AU venues. Soon after, he realized within himself that music was a better outlet for his unique voice.

Mac doesn’t consider himself a “lyrical rapper”, instead he uses free styling as a creative, expressive outlet for emotion.

Positivity and spreading an optimistic sound is at the forefront of Chunky Mac’s music: he finds himself always trying to brighten someone’s day.
