Don Knock is a producer and artist from Jamaica, now living in NYC.
The featured project is titled “Copenhagen” and it was written three years ago while Don Knock was on a trip to Europe.
“We had 5 countries to conquer in 10 days. My first destination was London, England. I had been there for a day when we went to a pub called Zoo Bar on a random Sunday. At the bar, I met a young lady that told me she was from Copenhagen. Under the influence of a few drinks, I confidently replied, “That’s in the Netherlands right?” Thankfully, she laughed at my ignorance. In the four days that I was in London, we spent 20 hours in total together. We ran around the town and in that time she talked quite a bit about her home city of Copenhagen. Her stories about Copenhagen, which is actually the capital of Denmark, inspired me so much that the day I returned back to New York, I wrote this song. 20 Hour Rendezvous is inspired by the 20 hours I shared in London with a woman from Copenhagen.” Said the artist.
