From the artist:
Max Swan’s genre-bending work draws inspiration from the likes of James Blake, Sampha, Stevie Wonder, and Frank Ocean to create a modern take on RnB. His recent soulful cover of Henry Mancini’s 1967 award winning song “Two For The Road” is paired with equally poignant visuals that invite you to revisit nostalgia, romance, and hope during Philadelphia’s quarantine.
The music video directed by Chris White explores the contrast between Manccini’s lyrics that celebrate lifelong, stressless, loveful companionship and the desolate, abandoned streets of Philadelphia during lock down that once, not so long ago, held multitudes and life.
