The underground scene in Victoria, BC has been heating up lately! Comprised of Seamus R-L (vocals, guitar, & bass), Christian Hardy (vocals, guitar, & bass), and Neil Crosswell (drums), indie/punk trio Tent City blessed us with a 5-track EP titled ‘Conscious Incompetence’.
As purists the group aims to reinvigorate the guitar rock sound as it has stagnated throughout the years.
Tent City wears their heart on their sleeve as shown on the song ‘PNW Panic Attack’, which speaks to the times we all find ourselves in dark spaces no matter how beautiful life outside of our minds is. The EP has a few different vibes and the instrumentation keeps the well written songs ever so captivating.
Their ethos is that of a sonic Swiss Army Knife but could simply be described as angry Talking Heads.
We know they are working hard to give us more and once venues and shows get back up and running we see their fan base picking up QUICK!
