Westwood - Fight or Flight (Album Review)
Westwood the band is an upbeat alternative rock trio (Ross Nelson - Vocals/Guitar, Scott Kay - Bass/Vocals, & Patrick Ryan - Drums) from the Chicago, IL area. If you were into rock music growing up than their album ‘Fight or Flight’ will give you a big case of nostalgia.
‘Carry me away from a world in gray, cause its hard to look around when your face is in the ground’
Holding nothing back we get the trios unique perspective on life on the 10 song album. “Rag Doll” feels like the song you’d keep on repeat as a teen to piss your parents off, and we absolutely love it! The guitar driven songs complimented by the amazing work on drums show you how much they have worked to carve their sound.
‘When you want my attention I can finally admit, that you mistake me for someone that gives a sh*t’
Each of the records on 'Fight or Flight’ make you visualize an early 00’s style music video which is so fun. This album is very cohesive and we found ourselves playing it all the way through bouncing our heads! Westwood, what else is in the works?
